So we thought that when we left Chicago we also left behind the snow. :) Apparently, some followed us here. We awoke this morning to snow everywhere and more coming down. Of course, since this is the south the whole world shut down. Offices were closed, schools and government places were closed, everything was closed. Turns out it was for good reason since they have hardly any snow plows and can't do much to improve the roads. Snow is such a rare occurance here that they are totally unprepared for it when it comes.
So, all in all we got 7 inches and the schools and offices will be closed tomorrow also because things will turn colder tonight and everything will ice over. It was so fun to turn on the TV this morning and see not only Sean's school closing, but also Eric's company closing. That NEVER happened in IL. Eric always had to go to work no matter how bad the snowstorm was. And another great thing, is that here, there is no wind and no wind chill. It felt warm to me! I loved it! Who knew snow could be like this?

Wow, seven inches. I'm sure it will be gone in a couple of days, then back to blue skies!
You are so right. By Friday, it's going to be 58 degrees. Most of it's melted away now.
Nice. I wish that happened here!
